The Burmese Civil War is often quoted as being one of the longest running civil wars in human history dating back from 1949 to the present day. As with all widespread conflict, the human cost is unimaginable, with violence and suffering spreading to the most vulnerable and marginalised groups. With over 200,00 civilians displaced during the course of the conflict, with many of those children coming from ethnic minority groups; the Kvell Project’s mission is to enrich and develop the lives of the refugee children living on the Thai-Burma Border who have either escaped the conflict themselves or were born to those who did.
The Kvell Project is a Uk-based charity comprising of skilled volunteers who have been led to serve these kids in any way they can. With the goal that these kids will have the same opportunities that they did despite living in the backdrop of war.
Fly Optical has joined forced with The Kvell Project to help in whatever way we can. Here at FLY we are really passionate about this cause and believe that every child should have the opportunity to blossom. We have decided that for every fame that is purchased through our website we will be donating 5p towards The Kvell Project. This will help them provide the support they need to help each and every child caught up in this crisis reach their full potential they can, as these children are the future!
